Premium wig quality is not defined by a single material or construction detail. It is the result of the hair, lace, density, handwork and production control working together.

GOLDWIGS manufactures exclusively for professional partners using virgin, natural and unprocessed human hair, fine Swiss lace and precise hand-tied construction in our privately owned production facility.

01 / HAIR

Virgin hair, without compromise

We work exclusively with premium virgin, natural and unprocessed human hair of European, Slavic and Brazilian origin.

Every hair batch is carefully selected by us and must meet a consistently high standard of quality before it is accepted for production.

We do not use synthetic hair, mixed hair or chemically processed hair.

The goal is not simply to use human hair, but to preserve the natural qualities that determine movement, softness, longevity and how the hair behaves over time.

Fine Swiss lace. Precise handwork.

Every GOLDWIGS piece is built around fine Swiss lace and careful hand-tied construction.

Each individual hair is tied by hand, one hair per hole, to achieve a refined and highly natural result.

The goal is not simply to make the wig look natural from a distance, but to make the hairline, density and overall structure remain convincing even at close range.

We work with precise density control and careful placement of the hair to create a natural transition at the front, realistic movement and a result that does not look heavy or overbuilt.

The hair is tied in a multi-directional construction, allowing the parting to be moved naturally — for example from a centre part to a side part — depending on the client’s styling preference.

Why Swiss lace

We use fine Swiss lace because it is one of the highest-quality and most durable lace options used in premium wig construction today.

Its fine structure allows us to create a lightweight, refined base with a natural appearance at the hairline and parting.

It also works particularly well with our single-hair hand tying and precise density control, helping the finished wig remain natural and convincing even at close range.

For a more anatomical fit, the lace is sewn to the cap mesh with a carefully shaped curve that follows the natural contour of the head. This helps the lace sit more smoothly, securely and naturally against the scalp.

We do not bleach knots.

Because each individual hair is tied separately, one hair per hole, and the density is carefully controlled, the result is already extremely natural without the need for knot bleaching.

03 / PRODUCTION

Private production. Full control.

GOLDWIGS operates through our privately owned production facility, giving us direct control over the materials, construction methods and quality standards used throughout the manufacturing process.

For more than 16 years, we have refined the way each piece is produced — from hair selection and preparation to lace construction, density, finishing and final quality control.

We manufacture both from our own carefully selected premium hair stock and from virgin, natural and unprocessed hair supplied by professional salon partners.

For salons and brands, this also allows us to offer private label and OEM production while maintaining the same manufacturing standards used for our own GOLDWIGS collection.

Our responsibility does not end when production is complete.

Partner salons can also access repair and renewal services after delivery, allowing the relationship to continue beyond the original order.

What professional salons should evaluate

A premium wig should be judged by more than appearance alone.

For professional salons, the real differences are found in the hair, the construction, the density, the hairline, the movement and the way the wig performs over time.

Hair quality
Human hair is not automatically premium hair. Salons should look at whether the hair is virgin, natural and unprocessed, how carefully it has been selected, and whether its original qualities have been preserved.
Lace and knotting
The type and quality of lace, together with the way each hair is tied, have a direct effect on how natural the scalp and hairline appear at close range.
Density
A natural result depends on controlled density. Too much hair can make a wig look heavy and artificial, while correct distribution creates softness, movement and a more convincing hairline.
Hairline
A premium hairline should not look like a uniform wall of hair. Careful placement and density variation at the front help create a softer, more realistic transition.
Multi-directional movement
The way the hair is tied determines how freely it can be styled. A multi-directional construction allows the parting and styling direction to change naturally.
Long-term behaviour
The true quality of a wig becomes clearer over time. Salons should consider how the hair behaves after washing, styling and regular use — not only how the wig looks when it is new.
Aftercare and repair
For professional salons, manufacturing quality is only part of the relationship. The ability to receive support, repairs and renewal after delivery can be just as important as the original product.

Professional FAQ

Can the hair be coloured?

Yes. Because we work with virgin, natural and unprocessed human hair, the hair can be professionally coloured by the salon.

We do not colour the hair during our standard factory production process, allowing the salon to make the final colour decisions according to the end client.

Can the hair be heat styled?

Yes. As natural human hair, it can be professionally styled with heat.

As with any premium natural hair, appropriate temperature and professional care are recommended.

Can the parting be changed?

Yes. Our multi-directional hand-tied construction allows the hair to move naturally in different directions, so the parting can be changed — for example from a centre part to a side part.

Can density be customized?

Yes. Density is an important part of achieving a natural result.

We can adjust the density and its distribution according to the requirements of the salon and the intended market.

Why don’t you bleach the knots?

We do not bleach knots because our construction does not depend on knot bleaching to achieve a natural result.

Each individual hair is tied separately, one hair per hole, with carefully controlled density and placement.

This creates a refined and natural appearance without the need to chemically bleach the knots.

What type of lace do you use?

We use fine Swiss lace for our premium production.

The lace, density and ventilation are selected to create a natural hairline and a lightweight, refined construction.

Can you manufacture wigs from hair supplied by our salon?

Yes.

We manufacture wigs from premium virgin, natural and unprocessed human hair supplied by professional salons.

The hair is assessed before production and handled carefully throughout the manufacturing process.

What is the typical production time?

Typical production time is approximately 50–65 days, depending on the construction, specifications and order.

Do you offer Private Label and OEM production?

Yes.

We work with professional salons and brands on Private Label and OEM production while maintaining the same production standards used for GOLDWIGS.

What happens if a wig needs repair after delivery?

Partner salons can access repair and renewal services after delivery.

If there is a manufacturing defect, the case is reviewed and corrected according to our production responsibility.

Other repairs and renewal services can also be provided as a paid service.

What is the minimum order?

For custom production, the standard minimum order is 10 units.

Availability and conditions for ready-made stock may differ depending on the collection and current inventory.

Do you sell directly to consumers?

No.
